clnica_dental_peota_logoClínica Dental Peñota, located in seaside town of Portugalete in northern Spain, is one of the latest dental offices to receive their PIC pro training. Dr. Juan Carrascal and Dr. Maite Dominguez are the proud co-founders of this dental office with over 50 professionals seeing over 25.000 patients. Their philosophy is simple: to merge cutting-edge technology with a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring unparalleled quality and care for every patient.

With such a robust patient base and diverse caseload, optimizing workflow efficiency became a priority for Dr. Carrascal and his team. They were looking to improve their full arch implantology workflow, where they sometimes could get stuck and delayed due to the amount of steps involved. Recognizing the need to streamline processes while maximizing patient comfort, they started looking for a better solution.

“We are going to greatly reduce the number of appointments, the overall treatment time.”

Driven by a commitment to continuous learning and embracing technological advancements, Dr. Carrascal discovered the transformative potential of the PIC system through social media, his colleagues, and congresses, prompting his decision to integrate it into Clínica Dental Peñota.

“The accuracy it gives you is spectacular.”

Right from the first day of their 3-day on-site PIC pro training, Dr. Carrascal and his team were impressed with the accuracy of their PIC system Gravity. They particularly appreciated the added confidence it provided when tackling complex full-arch restorations, as well as the remarkable passive fit of prosthesis.

“The aesthetic of the machine is spectacular.”

The sleek design and user-friendly features of the PIC system Gravity captivated Dr. Carrascal. Its All-On-4 Wheels and the ergonomic Zero-Gravity Arm, that holds the PIC camera ready for capture at all times, further solidified his choice to incorporate it into his practice.

Beyond its technical advantages, the PIC system Gravity and PIC pro training ignited a newfound enthusiasm within the team as they embraced their new digital workflow. The team expressed their gratitude towards their PIC pro trainer for teaching them about all the common bottlenecks faced by dental offices, which proved to be extremely beneficial given the variety of cases they encounter daily. Following the three-day training, which ended on a Friday, Dr. Carrascal and his team were fully equipped to tackle their workload starting the following Monday!
