3DentaSoft (Zirkon Implant Laboratory), the official distributor of PIC dental in Romania, has recently completed an intensive 5-day PIC pro distributor training. Renowned for its cutting-edge digital workflows, 3DentaSoft is dedicated to providing fast and accurate technology to dental laboratories, ensuring a smooth client experience with comprehensive installation and technical support for every delivery.
“We think of ourselves as pioneers that always try to push the boundaries.”
Under the leadership of CEO Mario Viezuianu, DT, 3DentaSoft is on a mission to deliver predictable and precise results. Mario and his team are continually seeking ways to improve their workflows, both for their lab and their customers.
However, they faced several challenges in their digitalization efforts. Implementing various digital tools was sometimes difficult due to issues with verifying data received from customers. This could result in unexpected issues during prosthesis placement, an undesirable scenario in dental practice. As Mario puts it, “We don't like surprises in prosthesis. We like to be predictable.”
“Photogrammetry and the PIC system really changed the way of our work.”
Mario's extensive research into photogrammetry led him to discover the PIC system. Mario first encountered the PIC system and PIC system Gravity firsthand during the FP1 prostheses and immediate loading with PIC pro course last year. This course included a live demonstration with a real patient, showcasing the complete digital workflow used in immediate loading treatments, from patient records to prosthesis placement.
“With PIC dental, we have the possibility now to give the assurance to the clinics that everything will have a really good passive fit.”
Their 5-day PIC pro distributor training took place at Galadent Clinic with Dr. Alexandra-Luiza Galan, one of 3DentaSoft’s customers. The training covered all the possibilities unlocked by a predictable workflow for full arch restorations and allowed the 3DentaSoft team to practice capturing implant positions with the PIC system.
Mario and his team quickly recognized the significant improvements the PIC system would bring to their work. Mario emphasized that the system is more than just a device; it is an entire digital workflow with protocols. These protocols are what ensure seamless integration into their existing workflow, addressing their previous challenges with digital integration.
One of the main goals of the PIC pro trainings is to implement a digital full arch workflow customized to the needs and equipment of any clinic and laboratory. Now, Mario and his team are confident they are providing the best possible solutions to their customers.
