In one of our latest PIC pro trainings, we had the opportunity to work with Dr. Siona Motufau and his team at Grand Valley Dentures and Implants in Grand Junction, Colorado, USA. PIC pro is our on-site training that shares how to achieve predictable results with a consistent digital workflow using the PIC system.
Dr. Siona Motufau is dedicated to bringing every smile to life! They ensure that their skilled team of dentists and in-house lab technicians accurately and precisely complete restorations with advanced, leading-edge technology and knowledge.
Dr. Motufau was looking for a solution to overcome bottlenecks in the efficiency and precision of traditional conversions. After seeing the success that the PIC system brought to other clinics, Dr. Motufau knew that this was the perfect answer to help scale their full arch practice.
After completing their PIC pro training and experiencing how our prosthodontics workflows leverage the PIC system to increase his productivity, in his own words, Dr. Motufau states, “I just don't see why we would even think about going back to traditional conversions”, as with the PIC pro workflow traditional conversions are no longer necessary for immediate loading, resulting in time savings and restoration quality improvement.
Dr. Motufau and his team are excited about the PIC system's effect on their work! The team's in-house dental lab technician, Pelesá, mentioned that “What I appreciate is the accuracy: the accuracy of implant position […] for my part it’s the passive fit, especially”.
The clinic’s prosthetic assistant, Karen, was also very pleased with the PIC system, as she experienced that “It's just quick and easy for both the assistant and the patient. And on my end, as the prosthetic assistant, it's significantly easier. It's also more accurate.”
