The PIC dental team recently attended a digital implantology workflow course in Asturias, Spain. It spanned over two days and was a complete immersion into digital implantology with a real patient and live surgery with an immediate loading protocol. With the help of the PIC system, following an immediate loading protocol.

“The digital world has allowed me to dive into these disciplines, improving the accuracy of my treatments and the predictability of the outcomes.”

The course was guided by the esteemed Italian dentist, Dr. Luca Lavorgna. He is a prominent figure in the dental field, and he serves as the founder and director of Odontosinergy, a renowned training center dedicated to advancing dental expertise. His distinguished affiliations include membership in several prestigious dental societies and federations, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of dental innovation. “The PIC system played a crucial role in this course.”

The team navigated through a live case study in the lower jaw, placing six implants in a guided surgery. The PIC system's efficiency was on full display as the team manufactured a transitional prosthesis using a 3D printer. Within just 15 minutes, the design of the prosthesis, incorporating pre-operative patient records, was completed flawlessly.

“In the end, we believed that the best, or perhaps the only, option was the PIC system.”

To add another layer of expertise to the course, Dr. Miguel Beltrán was invited as a guest speaker to share his insight. Dr. Beltrán is the owner of Clínica Beltrán, and has owned a PIC system for several years. He brought forth a wealth of experience, showcasing a series of compelling clinical cases using the PIC system. His clinical cases served as examples of how the integration of digital technologies, like the PIC system, can elevate patient care and treatment outcomes.

As the event concluded, the PIC dental team left Asturias not just with newfound knowledge but with a sense of purpose. It was not just about a digital workflow, but was about embracing a future where innovation and patient well-being go hand in hand.
