The PIC dental team recently collaborated in the DSD Residency 2 course in Seville, Spain! Digital Smile Design, aims to empower dentists through innovative patient experiences, offering education, consulting services, lab services, and digital technologies. Founded by Dr. Christian Coachman, it’s known for its strong global presence, supporting dentists in over 70 countries.
The DSD Residency 2 course is part of a series of educational events hosted by DSD worldwide. It helps members further implement the DSD principles into their dental clinics. DSD Residency 2 consists of three intensive days of live treatments guided by Dr. Coachman and their interdisciplinary dental team.
PIC dental participates in DSD Residency 2 to demonstrate the benefits of integrating the PIC system and the PIC pro workflow into dental clinics with a high volume of full arch implant restorations. Both companies share a philosophy of achieving predictability in treatments and emphasize the importance of a consistent digital workflow to improve the quality of restorations while reducing costs, work, delivery time, and patient appointments.
In this edition, the PIC dental team provided a live patient demonstration of a full arch implants measurement performed with a PIC system Gravity, and explained its role in the implant restoration process of the PIC pro workflow. The real-time demonstration highlighted the speed and effectiveness of the PIC system Gravity, with the capture taking just a few minutes (including the placement and removal of the PIC transfers)!
Digital Smile Design have also added a PIC system Gravity unit to their educational center. This addition brings PIC dental solutions closer to their students across the many different learning experiences that DSD provides.
